Produce and verify PDF deliverables with source preservation, signatures, redaction, accessibility, metadata, rendering, and security checks.
A PDF can open cleanly and still be wrong. A black box may leave private text recoverable. OCR may scramble a page while adding a searchable layer. A routine edit can invalidate a digital signature. A successful command says nothing about clipped text, broken forms, hidden metadata, or the exact file sent to a customer.
PDF Production turns creation and transformation work into a reviewable production record. It binds source revisions and hashes, separates physical pages from page labels, preserves originals, controls edit and distribution authority, and plans the smallest safe operation. It covers creation, merge, split, rotation, OCR, forms, redaction, security changes, repair, and ambiguous-output recovery.
Verification stays tied to the final output hash. The workflow checks structure, extracted content, rendered pages, accessibility, security, metadata, forms, and signatures instead of treating one tool exit as completion. The package includes a canonical production-record contract and a read-only checker for hashes, preservation, verdict precedence, and required verification state. The checker does not open a PDF, validate a signature, prove redaction, assess accessibility, or authorize delivery.
Version 1.0.0 was reviewed on 2026-07-17 and evaluated through Codex CLI with gpt-5.6-sol in 12 fresh read-only contexts. The candidate scored 100 across three cases, compared with 72.5 for the same agent without the skill and 74.58 for the exact free upstream. All cases passed. The candidate led the upstream by 10 points on a signed redaction plan, 37.5 points on a canonical packet record, and 28.75 points on ambiguous OCR recovery. The evaluation covers those supplied cases. It does not prove that a real PDF, authority record, signature, redaction, accessibility state, or delivered file matches supplied evidence.
